Run: first run, target xe, window 2026-10-19 00:00 UTC to 2026-10-22 11:16 UTC. 112 GitHub API calls, 0 errors. Four readers covered the diffs and threads, and one web sweep ran.
Write-up: scout/xe/2026-10-22.md
- VedCloud's Meteor Lake port (same architecture as XeGfx) now composites the desktop on the GPU. It runs GuC on Linux's own MTL firmware. Their LinuxKPI lost-wake fix and stolen-memory reservation apply to XeGfx #4, #5 and #9.
- Linux's firmware-framebuffer takeover checks (lutzbichler/drm-kmod pr/7.3) are a checklist for #9.
- GEM backing pages stay wired: an i915 hang on the same 6.12 base when they get swapped (drm-kmod #527).
- IP version: confirm whether 7D67 is Xe-LPG or Xe-LPG+ (12.74).
- WhateverXe 0.4.0: Tiger Lake laptop panels; Meteor/Arrow Lake not planned.
- WhateverXe-Graphics v0.1.0: a
/Library+ AuxKC installer. - OCLP fork: dropped its Xe root patch.
- XPS 13 Plus on Tahoe:
libxedrvv17, a scheduler resync and a boot-plane hold. - NootedGreen threads: the donor route stalls before a modeset.

- Noise: six others.
- Credits: XeGfx e4f73c5 and NvGfx xe 69a28c0. WhateverXe, XPS13Plus and VedCloud rows updated, nmx-intel added.
- Comments: XeGfx #9, #4, #5
- Backfilled: 181 Legion boot-attempt log sets plus ikurina's ioreg from mt7925-hackintosh-bluetooth#1, on the repo's first day.
- nvgfx: NullMoth released v2.4.4, v2.5.0, v2.5.1 and v2.5.2 since 2026-10-21. NVIDIA published open-gpu-kernel-modules 615.71.10 and 580.196.07.
- i2c: LegionI2CArrowLake#1 has no reply yet. bafcz drove a Raptor Lake ELAN touchpad with interrupts: a VoodooI2C vendor id, VoodooGPIO Raptor Lake pin data, and a
_CRSGPIO rewrite.
Run: targets xe, nvgfx, mt7925-wifi, mt7925-wifi-native, mt7925-bt, legion-efi, cpu-power, audio, i2c, ite-kbd, cbmr. Windows: xe from 11:16 UTC, every other target from 2026-10-15 11:51 UTC (first scan). 242 GitHub API calls, 0 errors. Six readers and one web sweep.
Write-ups: nvgfx, mt7925-wifi, mt7925-wifi-native, mt7925-bt, legion-efi, audio, i2c, and a later-the-same-day section in xe. Nothing to report for cpu-power, ite-kbd or cbmr.
- NvGfx:
- MtkWlan: a WFSYS reset followed by a PCIe FLR at attach (SimpleMtkWlan PR #7) is a fallback for #1. itlmt7922-wifi is the MT7922 answer for #2.
- MtkWlanNative: qwz-macos shows how to report the current channel width (#1) and how to replay the power state after wake.
- MtkBt: ga403wm#10 looks like the 14-byte NVRAM key case on an HP 0e8d:8c38 card.
- VoodooHDA-Legion: upstream b320ac936 breaks jack sense on a failed verb. Keep
beb415aor restore the line.
- Our work upstream: NullMoth 2.3.7 to 2.4.4 took the submit-ahead pass, the AIR digest change and table-called functions from our side, and 2.5.2 took the boot-hold cap.
- NullMoth's installer: 1401 now bundles LegionCbmrFix, LegionCpuPower, LegionI2CArrowLake and LegionITEKbdFix, credited correctly. It still says MT7925 has no driver.
- Other machines on our MT7925 kexts: two machines run our Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: a Legion 5 15IRX10 on Sequoia and an HP OMEN 16 on Tahoe.
- Sleep, for later: the UltraWake GPE fix.
- Fan control: LenovoLegionLinux documents our S2CN fan map.
- VedCloud: the "smooth" relabel isn't backed by a dated capture.
- Unverified "AppleSunrise" claim: the claimed native MediaTek stack on Tahoe is unverified, and its repo ships kext binaries we can't check.

None. No labs issue had new comments with code or attachments since the morning run.
- Forums: InsanelyMac and r/hackintosh are poorly indexed, and the r/hackintosh mirror didn't resolve. Nothing was indexed for Arrow Lake HX in the window.
- VedCloud: their commit lists more than 3,000 files, so the file list we read was capped.
