Notable

AW88399 speaker amps on the Legion Y9000P IAX10H. The wsjj-official 1.0 EFI for the 83F5 drives both Awinic AW88399 amps (I2C 0x34 and 0x35, ACPI AWDZ8399 at \_SB.PC02.I2C2.SPKR) with a kext, plus a shared-DAC fork of AppleALC because pins 17 and 14 both sit on DAC 0x02 (without it AppleHDA programs four channels and the sound is quiet, high and stuttering). It also fixes a layout-id written as an 8-byte string. The kext comes from Ersiter/Legion-ALC287-AW88399-macOS (GPL-2.0), a port of the Linux snd_hda_scodec_aw88399 core; the AppleALC fork is Ersiter/AppleALC. The amp firmware comes from Lenovo's Windows package. Speakers work on the owner's 83F5 under Sequoia 15.8; headphones, HDMI audio and sleep are untested. Our 83F0 reports an ALC257 codec and its speakers already work, and we have not seen an AW88399 node in its tables, so this probably does not apply to us. Worth a check of our DSDT before closing it.

Sunburst0218/MECHREVO-GM6IX7B-i7-14650HX-RTX4070-Hackintosh (repo): Tahoe 26.7.1 on an RTX 4070 laptop with nvrmacpibl=1, a Senary SN6140 codec through AppleALC and SimpleHDA, and a warning not to load VoodooHDA alongside them.
