mt7925-wifi-native: 2026-10-28 (full run, window 2026-10-27 18:11 to 2026-10-28 11:30 UTC)

Nothing in this window says how macOS 26.7.2 (25G332) changed IO80211 or Skywalk, so mt7925-hackintosh-wifi #4 still waits on our own re-dump.

Notable

New project: DrogaBox/RTL8814Native (repo, created 2026-10-27): a native IO80211 and Skywalk front end for the USB RTL8814AU, tested on 26.7.1 with one adapter. It dumps IO80211's vtables per build (Docs/re/io80211_25.6.0/), generates a header from them and gates the build on it, and says to re-dump after every macOS update because the slots move. That is the same per-build pin our MtkWlanNative uses; its dump is an independent check for ours when we re-dump for 25G332. GPL-2.0, Realtek HAL from morrownr/8814au. High confidence.

AirPort-RTW (PR #5): WPA3-Personal and a faster software CCMP on the legacy IO80211 front end. Does not touch the native ABI question. High confidence.

Discovery verdicts

  • qiqco/MT7922-macOS-Driver: related. README only, no source or licence yet; claims MT7922 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with a native menu. Re-check when source appears. Low confidence on its origin.
