LenovoLegionLinux: Gen 10 EC offsets measured on a Legion 5 15IRX10. PR #642 corrects the EC 0x5508 layout used by Gen 10 machines that only expose WMI: fan speeds at 0xC406 and 0xC403 (in units of 100 RPM), CPU temperature at 0xC4B0, GPU temperature at 0xC4B4, power mode in bits 0 to 3 of 0xC420. The custom fan table has ten levels at 0xF9F0 to 0xF9F9 and only applies in custom mode (level 10 gives 4600 RPM, level 1 gives 1800). Tested on 83LY, not our 83F0, though a comment in the thread says the layout matches the S2CN BIOS family ours belongs to. The fan curve issue for several machines including 83F0 (#491) is still open. High confidence for 83LY, Low to Medium for 83F0 until we read our own EC.
OpenCore Legacy Patcher 3.0.0-rc.4 (release): Tahoe support, FileVault on macOS 26, newer wireless patches, OpenCorePkg 1.0.5. For older Macs; nothing for Arrow Lake.

Arrow Lake boot hangs at EXITBS:START have a documented BIOS cause on other machines. Our I-118 (four macOS starts
that died after EXITBS:START with no macOS log, N-292) has no cause yet, and these are the closest cases:
- nullmoth/1401#110 (26 Oct): a ThinkBook 16p 2025 with a Core Ultra 7
255HX and an RTX 5060 Laptop. The
EXITBS:STARThang went away with BIOS VT-d off (the ACPI DMAR table disappears); aNon-monotonic timepanic went away withAppleXcpmExtraMsrs; a BlueToolFixup crash with the Intel Bluetooth kexts off; the fourth stop is a page fault insync_tos_to_lks, which the reporter ties to a MADT that lists 48 processors for a 20 core CPU without SMT. Four stages, each with evidence. - ydd1126/skybreak: an Arrow Lake-S 245K with an RTX 3070 on NullMoth through
1401; its notes name BIOS VT-d off and
DevirtualiseMmiotrue for the same hang. No raw logs, written with an AI agent playbook. Related; not credited anywhere yet. - 1401#58 (Core Ultra 7 255H, closed after seven comments) found the same
VT-d cause. 1401#64 (RTX 5070 Ti, panel wired to the dGPU) freezes
right after
EXITBS:STARTand is still open. 1401#115 (Alder Lake, VT-d already off) hangs at the same line, so VT-d is not the only cause.
For us: our Legion boots most of the time (N-293 passed) and our config already sets DisableIoMapper, so VT-d is
probably not the I-118 cause, but the BIOS VT-d and DMAR state at N-292 is worth recording. Medium confidence.
- Mountainatic/YaoShi16-Ultra-OpenCore-efi (MIT): the EFI of a MECHREVO Yaoshi 16 Ultra (275HX, RTX 5080 Laptop), NvGfx 2.5.3 boot-args, panel on NVIDIA.
- johnfanv2/LenovoLegionLinux has a baseline-support issue for the Legion 9i Gen 10 (83EY). Not our model.
