App and Settings icons load late the first time (placeholder squares for several seconds) #10

Launchpad / the Apps view (stock 2.3.7, Bash: 'they take a long time to load in initially') and the System Settings General pane (fork 2.3.7-nvgfx.1: placeholder squares 3 s after opening, every icon drawn by 15 s) show icons late. Nothing is missing once they load. Likely the first translation of the icon and glass shaders per process (RenderBox, VideoToolbox transfers); PR 294 cuts the per-call hashing but not the first-time translation.
